Word Malay Silat Martial Art

Each nation has the knowledge of martial arts or martial arts knowledge , the Malays called it silat, scooper , martial or time. Common to the Malays in the Malay Peninsula mentions silat or dipper , but the "word silat" is more popular use. 

Prior to use the "word silat" , the Malay martial art known as the first commander of knowledge , knowledge pendekar or knowledge of a brave warrior costume that contains secret knowledge of traditional Malay art of war in which the methods of science or knowledge of martial arts martial arts is part of it.

Each of the Malay race has given the different name and "word silat" based name of their descendants like silat Minangkabau, Kurinci martial arts, silat Java, silat Betawi martial arts, martial arts and other Lintau. In general, when called silat Melayu is referring to the martial arts practice by the Malays in the Malay Peninsula. 

The word martial arts Malay dialect or language quoted by the respective provincial "word silat" or common dipper used by the Malays in the Malay Peninsula. References silek and gayuang in Sumatra , Penca and maempok in West Java. VAT in Central Java and East Java , Madura and MANCAK in Baweanese encak in Bali , the MPAA just in Dompu and West Nusa Tenggara and bermancek in Bulungan and Kalimantan , and Sulawesi memencak in Bugis , Makasar pencak quarter and bersilat and time in Mindanao , Philippines .
